Did you know that Michigan is one of 42 states that grows wheat? Wheat is considered a cereal grain and plenty of it ends up in delicious cereal.  Join us in this crate as we explore what farmers do to grow, raise and harvest one of the most important grains in our diet.

We will take a farm tour and visit the Krohn farm in Elkton, Michigan, who grows wheat on their farm to turn into many of the products we have on our shelves in our cupboards. Then you will get an up-close look at the grains used to make the cereals and other things we love to enjoy for breakfast!
